‘The Goddess who came to live with Mankind’ is a Khasi folk tale of the ancestress of one of the traditional Khasi kingdom. The story is about x a goddess in disguise of a small girl who was lured to live in the world of man. The illustrations for the story were commissioned by Ramakrishna Mission. It was published in the 2021 September edition of Jingshai or the Light a bi-yearly magazine brought out by the centre.
